A decree by the Kazakhstan government dated September 16, 2020 introduces the new regulations for passengers arriving to the country. There are three categories of country of origin. Category I with the covid19 measures being only temperature check and questioning and Category II requiring negative PCR test certificate issued within 5 days. Alternatively, travelers without coronavirus certificate have the option of test within 48 hours of arrival or 14-day quarantine. Category III includes all other countries and only repatriation flights are allowed.

Category II
Includes arrivals from Austria, Greece, Italy, India, Hungary, Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, UAE
