The Thai ministry of Tourism and Sport has confirmed that the first foreign tourists will arrive in the country on October 8. This will be a group of 150 Chinese holiday travelers to Phuket. Two weeks later another charter flight with Chinese tourists will land in Bangkok. The first European tourists are expected to arrive to Thailand on November 1 on a flight of Thai Airways. No further information with regards to the full opening of the Thai borders has been made available.
