Arrivals to Germany are subject to Covid19 measures according to their travel origin. The following changes to the list of high-risk areas are in effect:
Austria: the province Vorarlberg is considered as additional risk area.
Croatia: the county Lika-Senj is considered as additional risk area.
Czech Republic: the complete country with the exception of Ústecký and Moravskoslezský regions is considered as a risk area.
Denmark: the region Hovedstaden is now considered as a risk area.
France: the Bretagne, Centre-Val de Loire and Normandy regions are considered additional risk areas.
Hungary: the county Györ-Moson-Sopron is considered as additional risk area.
Ireland: the region Dublin is now considered as a risk area.
Portugal: the region Lissabon is considered as a risk area.
Romania: the county Covasna is considered as additional risk area.
Slovenia: the region Primorsko-notranjska region is considered as a risk area.
The Netherlands: the province Utrecht is considered as additional risk area.
United Arab Emirates: the whole country is now considered as a risk area.
Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Cuba, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Seychelles and Sri Lanka are no longer considered risk areas.
Persons entering the Federal Republic of Germany, who have spent time in a risk area at any specific period within 14 days prior to entry, are subject to a mandatory Covid-19 test (from 8 August 2020) and may be subject to quarantine under the specific quarantine ordinances issued by the competent federal state (Land).
